ACCO History

ACCO Unlimited Corporation started with one salesman, one technician, and one secretary. Sales were made from pickup trucks with the salesman doing the deliveries. Over the years van trucks replaced the pickup to be replaced in turn by a fleet of semi tractors and trailers and service trucks.

ACCO's first warehousing terminal was built in 1973 and was doubled in 1977. This facility currently maintains a large inventory of chemicals and equipment such as: pumps, scales, tanks, and pool accessories. ACCO additionally stocks replacement parts for the equipment.

In 1986, ACCO invented the ACCO Bulk System. It's design provides mini bulk handling using a tank system which eliminates carboy handling and chemical contact for operators. It's success has been widespread offering a safer, more efficient method for treating water. In the early 90's ACCO expanded operations into Nebraska and later added Missouri and Illinois territories for growth opportunities.

In 2010, ACCO completed a major upgrade renovation of it's property. The addition of chemical bermed tank structures, a neutralization system, production area and improved truck access has staged ACCO for continued growth into the next decade and beyond. Future plans include an additional warehouse terminal and office building.
