ACCO Unlimited Corporation started operations with one sales representative, one technician, and one secretary. Sales were made from pickup trucks with our sales representative making deliveries. Over the years, van trucks replaced the pickup to be replaced by a fleet of semi-tractors, trailers, and service trucks.
ACCO's first warehouse terminal was built in 1973 and doubled in size by 1977. In 1986, ACCO created the "ACCO Bulk System". Its design provides mini-bulk handling utilizing a tank system which eliminates carboy handling and chemical contact for operators. Its success has been widespread offering a safer, more efficient method for treating water. In the early 90's, ACCO expanded operations into Nebraska and later added Missouri and Illinois territories for growth opportunities.
In 2008, ACCO upgraded the property by constructing new chemical bermed-tank structures, a neutralization system, production building and expanded truck access.
By 2019, ACCO renovated the original existing building and dedicated it to chemical production and storage only. Our new building has a dedicated fleet service bay, a service workshop, office, and training room. The new facility includes spacious parking and amenities for employees that include a fitness center, locker room, and full-size break room.
